Blue Tansy Essential Oil

Blue Tansy is a yellow flower that turns blue when distilled.  Blue Tansy essential oil is created during this process.  The flower originated from Morocco, Spain, and Portugal.  This essential oil is know for its calming properties for irritated skin.  It reportedly reduces heat (think sunburn), relieves delicate or troubled skin (think eczema, dermatitis, rosacea, psoriasis, dry and flaky skin.). Claims have been made that Blue Tansy helps clear congested pores and kills pimple causing bacteria. It is also said to reduce redness, making it one of the best oils for acne prone skin.  Chamazulene gives Blue Tansy its beautiful color.  The oil’s scent has similarly emotional properties as chamomile, promoting relaxation, regulating hormones, and calming anxiety. Its scent is described as intensely sweet, fruity, and floral with earthy herbaceous undertones.
